project tula
Tula Condos, proposed in Ajax is a low-carbon future by employing an innovative geothermal heating and cooling system that will produce 70 percent less greenhouse gases, use about 40 percent less energy than a traditional HVAC systems, and save over five million litres of water every year. A proposal of using geothermal system is complemented by several other green gestures, including private courtyards sporting drought-tolerant landscapes, absorbing stormwater runoff and reducing clean water irrigation waste by 60 percent.
The construction of our development will look to be v4.1 LEED® certified as a benchmark to make a minimal disruptive footprint. This will ensure a use of the land that minimizes impact on the site which favour the infiltration of rain water and efficient water conservation management. The efficient use of materials and selection of environmentally friendly materials and waste reduction will ensure a non-invasive approach to the naturally occurring ecosystems of the Green Belt and the Oak Ridges Moraine.
connectedness.
The development will be a focal vibration of community. By taking a leading edge to design disruption our focus is to integrate and connect all ecosystems of the home, homeowner, the environment and the community at large. We want to showcase the possibility that development & construction does not have to be invasive, but rather integrative with the existing environment and community. By creating symbiotic relationships between different ecosystem, the goal of these homes are to make sure that humankind becomes stewards of the environment, helping to nourish it rather than take from it. The development will also consider the maximum output of community benefits under the Planning Act to ensure that the development facilitates progress within the community.
accessibility.
A cornerstone of Flō Development's philosophy is accessibility. We believe in creating homes that are adaptable to each owner's specific needs and changing circumstances in life. By using open concept spaces, we believe our homes can be inclusive spaces for people with different functional and physical abilities. Whether you grow your family or need an extra bedroom or lower countertop spaces and wider corridors for wheel chair accessibility, One Development believes in adapting to the home owner instead of the homeowner adapting to the home.
